After closing, before move-in. The home must be empty (no previous owner belongings, no current renter belongings). Most customers schedule us 1-3 days before their move-in date, so the clean is fresh when they arrive with boxes. Tell us your closing date AND move-in date when you book — we’ll find a slot in between.
Same service. Many renters book move-in cleans because landlord-promised cleaning often isn’t the standard you’d want. We clean the apartment or rental the same way we’d clean a purchased home — empty, thorough, every surface. Many renters do this so they have a documented baseline for their security deposit too.
A regular deep clean works around your furniture and belongings. A move-in clean takes advantage of the empty home to clean inside every cabinet, behind every appliance, every closet floor, every wall and baseboard. It’s a one-time opportunity to do the most thorough clean a home will ever get — once you move in, half of these areas become inaccessible for years.
No. Most move-in customers aren’t — they’re in the middle of packing, working with movers, or wrapping up at their old place. Give us a key, garage code, lockbox code, or arrange with your real estate agent. Every crew member is bonded, insured, and background-checked. You’ll get a “we’re starting” text and a “we’re done” text.
Small things (cleaning products under the sink, hangers in closets, paint cans in the garage) — we work around them. Large items left behind (furniture, appliances they were supposed to take, trash) — call us so we can discuss before we arrive. We’re not a junk removal service, but we can adjust the scope if needed.
Usually yes. Move-in cleans get scheduled within 2-7 days of booking. Same-day cleans are sometimes possible depending on crew availability — text us as soon as you have your closing date and we’ll work backward to find a slot. The more notice we have, the better the timing options.
Standard carpet vacuuming is included. Carpet steam cleaning, exterior pressure washing, window-screen cleaning, deck staining — these are add-ons priced separately. Many customers bundle a carpet steam clean with their move-in clean since both are best done before furniture goes in. Tell us at booking what you want included.
